Spring in February?

Who would have ever thought we'd have a 60 degree sunny day in Michigan in early February? (February 10th to be exact!) All I can say is that is was a very nice treat.....not to mention a nice little "teaser" that kicked Spring Fever into high gear! I opened some of the windows in our house to allow some of that nice fresh air in (and to get the old, stale winter air OUT!) and the girls and I also got outside to enjoy some fresh air! Ahhh....how nice it was......even if it was only for a day! Hurry back, Spring!!!!!!

This was totally Addisen's idea! We were outside just hanging out in the driveway and next thing I know, she's got her little shovel and is digging in the little patch of snow that was still lingering along our driveway. I don't know....I kind of like it better than sand....its a lot cleaner anyway!

Addisen driving in her car......beep, beep!

Me and the girls........enjoying the beautiful weather! (I think I should be called "supermom" for taking this pic while holding a baby and managing to get all three of us in the picture and all looking toward the camera! Ha Ha)

A Little Lullaby....

I used to sing the lullaby "Rock A Bye Baby" to Addisen every night when she went to bed (I would sing it a couple times then would switch to humming it!). In fact, she would request that I sang it to her! We have kind of grown out of that ever since she transitioned to her "big girl bed" (her full sized bed). Now Daddy or Mommy will lay down with her till she falls asleep! At any rate, she has gotten to know the song pretty well.....words and all! I managed to capture her singing it to her baby sister one day........so precious! I will treasure this forever......

Oh How the Time Flies....

Well, here it is the beginning of February already! I feel like it was only like maybe November yesterday! Scary! Miss Olivia is 3 months old now! I can hardly believe it! Where did the time go? She is a great baby we sure love having her around! :o) She sleeps thru the night (has been doing so since she was 8 weeks old!), she's a great eater, and she is "Miss social". She loves to be held, talked to, or able to see whats going on! Overall, she is a happy, smiley little girl!

Addisen is a little over 2 1/2 now! Turning 3 is right around the corner! (May 31st) I can hardly believe that one either! Wow! Her favorite phrase nowadays is "I do it by myself". Ahh....independence! Its a lot of fun though to watch her do things on her own now. It really comes in handy at times...especially when I am tending to Olivia! She definitely is a great little helper! :o)

Here are some recent pictures of the girls....

Our Girls....

Tickle, tickle!! This one just makes me laugh.....

Addisen now sleeps in a "big girl" bed! She had adjusted well to it...right from the very first night! She does occasionally still ask for her "little bed". We just tell her that she's a big girl now and the little bed is all gone! :o)

Miss Olivia......

Cutie pie!

Happy girl!

All of Gods grace in TWO little faces! :o) We are so blessed to have them both in our lives!
