Ho, Ho, Ho.....our visit(s) with Santa

Christmas time of course calls for a trip to see Santa! We took the girls to a "Brunch with Santa" at Kruse and Muer's in downtown Rochester and we also went to see Santa at the Village of Rochester (he's our favorite and the one we've visited since Addisen's first Christmas). Addisen was all happy about seeing Santa....from a safe distance! :o) When she was standing about two feet away from him, she would wave and say "Hi Santa". But the moment we asked her if she wanted to sit on his lap, she got all straight faced and serious and was like "no way". So, hence the lack of a smile in any pictures she is in with Santa! Oh well....the positive in all of it is that she "graduated" from crying this year. So we did make some progress from last year! Maybe next year, she'll actually sit on his lap and smile for a picture! :o)

This was Olivia's first time meeting Santa! She did great! Of course, she had absolutely no clue as to what was going on!

The four of us with Santa at Kruse and Muer's..........

Addisen and Olivia with Santa. Don't you just love "Miss serious face?"

Miss Olivia with Santa. Such a sweet picture.......

When we asked Addisen what she wanted for Christmas from Santa this year, her answer was always "Rudolph"! So while visiting Santa, she spotted the reindeer outside and wanted to see it. (Miss Olivia is snug in her carseat down by my feet! It was a bit chilly out that day!)

Our best Christmas gift this year - all snug in her car seat!

Big sister, little sister.....

I had just changed Olivia's diaper one day and Addisen wanted to lay on the floor right next to her baby sister! I just had to laugh at the size difference between the two of them! These will be great for the girls to see when they get older! Its so hard to believe Addisen was ever as small as Olivia is right now! Sure shows you how fast they grow! I try to savor every moment because I know the years are going to fly!

Just look how long Addisen is compared to Olivia! Too funny!

I just love this one......SOOO cute because they both are smiling!

Sweet baby girl! :o)

Turkey Day!

We celebrated Thanksgiving over at Erik's Dad's house this year. The food was GREAT and we all had a good time! It was Olivia's first Thanksgiving - she slept thru most of it! :o) Addisen had a great time playing with her cousin, Max! It got a little crazy and wild at times......made us all wonder what it will be like when Olivia and Cash are older and all 4 kids will be running around going wild! (not to mention possibly 1 or 2 more - depending on how many more Erik and I add to the crew!) Ha Ha! Its all good though.....its so neat that they will all be able to play and have fun together at the Holidays!

Addisen and Max causing trouble! They both kept pulling the reeds out of the vase there in the picture!

Grandma "Honey"(Jeri - Erik's Mom) holding Miss Olivia! Little miss sleeping beauty!

Olivia with Grandpa Tom (Erik's Dad). Still sleeping........

Addisen's baby cousin Cash with his Daddy (Erik's brother, Adam). Cash was born on September 24th so he and Olivia are only a little over a month apart in age!

Grandma Jeri brought two HUGE cupcakes to Thanksgiving for Addisen and Max. They basically were a mini cake in a huge cupcake wrapper! Can someone say "sugar buzz"?

Olivia finally woke up towards the end of the evening! YAY!

Happy First Thanksgiving, Olivia! :o)
